Floral Arrangements Inspired by Fine Art

to smell the flowers

Growing up, Andrea spent countless hours alongside her mother, Yolanda Espinoza, tending to a flourishing backyard garden. It was a magical place where wild visitors like Mississippi kites and desert tortoises often stopped by—fostering a deep, early bond with nature. These moments shaped her: picking roses to make Mother’s Day bouquets, snacking on fresh mint before school, and simply learning to see beauty in the everyday. Decades later, that love has only deepened. Now, she finds herself enveloped in nostalgia as she plants, harvests, and creates in her own beautifully curated garden. Her connection to the earth runs deep, rooted in a family history of generational farming in Mexico.

a passion for painting

At the same time, Andrea was captivated by visual expression—with her passion drawn to traditional forms of drawing and painting, always inspired by the natural world around her. She paints for hours, getting lost in each piece, often recreating the landscapes, plants, and animals she encountered in her daily life. Her sketchbooks became a place of quiet exploration, where colors, lines, and imagination brought her connection with nature and loves ones. Over time, this love for art grew into a devoted practice, evolving in depth and style, but always rooted in the same sense of wonder and observation. Her art, like her garden, is a celebration of life in vibrant colors—a reflection of memory, emotion, and a meditative practice that teaches patience and perseverance. Painting remains a grounding force in her life, one that brings a sense of calm and clarity.

Whether she's brushing soft florals onto canvas or arranging fresh blooms by hand, Andrea channels the same intention and care into every creative endeavor. When she isn’t in her garden or at her easel, you’ll likely find her with loved ones—riding bikes, swimming under the sun, running to clear her mind, or traveling to soak up inspiration from new landscapes and cultures.
